Live Thrive’s CHaRM DeKalb
Details: This field trip includes an overview of Live Thrive’s mission, history of Live Thrive and CHaRM, information on how the materials are collected and processed on-site, tips for how to incorporate sustainable materials management and recycling 101 at school and at home, an interactive game, and a full tour of the CHaRM facility! The tour of site will include educational components that are based on what the group is currently focused on and learning about. For example, natural resources, climate change, recycling basics, etc.
Cost: General admission to the Live Thrive’s CHaRM Dekalb is free.
When: Wednesday, December 3, 2025
Time: 10 - 11:30 a.m.
*Please note that we will meet at Live Thrive’s CHaRM Dekalb location. Our guided tour begins promptly at 10 a.m.—so we’re asking everyone to please arrive by 9:45 a.m. This will give us time to check in, gather as a group, and be ready to start on time. There is street parking near the facility.
