About the event

Join us at LEAD homeschool for an unforgettable homeschool educational program that will have your kiddo buzzing about animals!

"AWARE  rehabilitates Georgia’s injured and orphaned native wild animals and educates the community about peaceful coexistence" with our non-human neighbors.

This all ages program is 60 minutes.  "A wildlife handler will present the animals, tell their stories, share tips on peaceful coexistence with wildlife, and take questions from the audience. A typical program features four ambassador animals, including owls, hawks, possums, turtles, snakes, and more.  Be aware that our ambassadors are native wildlife and aren’t allowed to be touched; however, you will get to see them up close and hear their stories."

For more information on AWARE you can check out their website: https://www.awarewildlife.org/.
