American Government Thursdays, 11-11:55 AM Teacher: Amy Medford. losmedfords@gmail.com. Course Cost: $350 Course Duration: 15 weeks Age: 12-18 The U.S. is 250 years old! In this class we will learn about the American government. We will discuss the founding and starting documents and the people who shaped these discussions. We will learn the basics of how our government works, what the branches are, and how they function. We will discuss the history of our government- its highs and lows. This class will fit the criteria of a high school-level government class. There will be weekly assignments and homework.

Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy: The LEAD Refund policy for dropping a class is as follows: • Class canceled 1+ weeks before classes begin = full refund of class and LEAD fees. • Class canceled 1 week before OR after classes begin = no refund of LEAD fees. Refund of class fees is up to the discretion of the instructor. If, for some reason, a class you have signed up for is canceled by LEAD or the instructor (either before or after the start of classes), you will have the option of receiving a refund of your LEAD per-class fee or applying it to another class. These terms are subject to change per semester.
