Banned Book Literature Thursdays, 9:30-10:30 AM Teacher: Angela Gable Course Cost: $230 Course Duration: 15 weeks Age: 11+ Course Description: This class focuses on literature that has been challenged or banned in America's public schools. We will read and discuss their impact on society. Our books will include: Looking For Alaska by John Green, 1984 by George Orwell, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, All Boys Aren't Blue by George M Johnson, and if there is time, The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. Reading is my passion and it brings me so much joy to help readers discover their own love of the written word.
