Join us at LEAD from May 18 - 22, 2026 10 AM - 3 PM Camp Cost: $399 Ages 6 - 14 (kids will be divided into age-appropriate groups) Blast off into uncharted territories of fun with our week-long STEAM-focused camp. This week, we will focus on the themes of ceramics and science. Students will get their hands dirty as they learn essential techniques for hand-building ceramics (slab, coil and pinch) and stretch their imaginations as they explore a topics in biology, chemistry and more. Ceramic items will be available for pick up two weeks after camp ends. All materials and supplies are included. Tentative Camp Schedule 10 - 10:30 AM - Outdoor adventures 10:30 AM - Noon - Ceramics Activity Noon - 1 PM - Lunch and Outdoor time 1 - 2:30 PM - Science Activity 2:30-3 PM - Free play/additional outdoor time 3 PM - Pick up 3 - 4:30 PM - Optional aftercare where students can play games, build in Minecraft and more.* During the week we will: -- Mold a pinch pot planter based on their favorite animal -- Explore texture in clay using items from nature -- Create a geode in days (versus 100,000 years!) -- Learn about fossils with casts and molds -- And more! *Aftercare is available for an additional $100 for the full week of camp. LEAD Camps are open to both members and non-members! All Campers will be required to sign an insurance waiver on the first day of camp at check-in.

Cancellation Policy
LEAD is a small, volunteer-run organization. As such our camp refund & rescheduling policies reflect the time required of volunteers, general operating cost, as well as the cost instructors absorb with cancellations. LEAD's Registration Fee of $50 is Non-Refundable (added into the tuition). Please see the camp description for a breakdown of fees (registration, tuition, & supply fees). Cancellations: 90 days BEFORE the START of camp: -- Full refund for tuition & supplies. -- NO refund on the $50 LEAD Registration Fee. 90 days from your camp's start date: -- You will incur a 25% Cancellation Fee on the cost of the tuition. -- NO refund on SUPPLY FEES -- NO refund on $50 LEAD's Registration Fee. Reschedules are allowed up to 30 days before camp begins providing space is available in the camp with which you wish to switch.
