Chemistry Lecture + Lab Course Days & Times: Lab: Monday 11:30-12:30 p.m. Lecture: Tuesday 1:30-2:30 p.m. Teachers: Julia Lutgendorf & Robert Hill Course Cost: $430 Course Duration: 12 weeks Ages: 11+ Course Description: This course is designed for students to explore the fascinating world of chemistry. Through hands-on experiments, engaging activities, and real-world applications, students will develop a solid foundation in chemical concepts and scientific thinking. This class meets twice a week with lecture on Monday and lab on Tuesday. Students should expect a brief homework assignment to prepare them for the lab. Topics will include: the scientific method, matter and its properties, atoms and elements, molecules and compounds, chemical reactions, acids, bases and pH, solutions, energy in chemistry and environmental chemistry.
