Cooking Thursdays, 11:30 AM-12:25 PM Teacher: Moraima Serra, she/her Course Cost: $330, Student should bring their own apron and hair net. Course Duration: 15 weeks Ages: 6-9 Course Description: Breakfast, lunch, and snacks galore! This is a small group class where students will learn basic cooking skills such as food safety, measuring, peeling, grating, spreading, mashing, sifting, following a recipe, and knife techniques using kid-safe knives. There will be no boiling or frying. All recipes will be meat-free. *Important Notes* • For this class to work, parents must plan to contribute an ingredient each week. Basics such as salt and pepper will be provided by the teacher as well as all the tools. • Please discuss any allergies with the teacher before signing up. moraima@leadhomeschool.org

Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy: The LEAD Refund policy for dropping a class is as follows: • Class canceled 1+ weeks before classes begin = full refund of class and LEAD fees. • Class canceled 1 week before OR after classes begin = no refund of LEAD fees. Refund of class fees is up to the discretion of the instructor. If, for some reason, a class you have signed up for is canceled by LEAD or the instructor (either before or after the start of classes), you will have the option of receiving a refund of your LEAD per-class fee or applying it to another class. These terms are subject to change per semester.
