FAIRY TALES, FOLKTALES, FABLES, & MYTHS Thursdays 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Teacher: Joy Tanksley Course Cost: $250** Course Duration: 12 weeks Ages: 7-10 Course Description: From Anansi the Spider to Little Red Riding Hood, folk literature is not only fun and fascinating to read but also a powerful tool for understanding our shared humanity. Each week, we will dive into a different folk story from around the world, using tools such as reader's theater, interactive games, and colorful crafts to help young learners engage with the literature. As we get to know these tales from long ago, we will also discover important things about ourselves as modern people and our essential connections to the past. **NOTE: If you need financial assistance to enroll in this class, please email joytanksley@gmail.com for support.
