Service Description
HAND SEWING Course Cost: $255 + $30 Registration Fee Course Duration: 15 weeks Age: 6+ Course Description: Sewing is such a practical skill! Students get the sense that they can make just about anything--which really builds confidence. In this class, students will learn the basics of hand sewing--threading a needle, hiding ends, simple stitches. Students who already have sewing skills will have an opportunity to reinforce those skills and build upon them by learning new skills. The past couple of years, I"ve had students make dragons, chickens, finger puppets, and more. I've got a variety of patterns available. Materials are included. We will be using plant dyed wool felt and stuffing wool. Materials and tools are provided for this class.
Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy: The LEAD Refund policy, for the $30 per-class registration fee (shown as a deposit) for dropping a class is as follows: Class canceled 2+ weeks before classes begin - full refund of LEAD fees. Class canceled 2 weeks before classes begin - 50% refund of LEAD fees. Class canceled 1 week before classes begin, including after classes begin - no refund of LEAD fees If, for some reason, a class you have signed up for is canceled (either before or after the start of classes), you will have the option of receiving a refund of your LEAD per-class fee or applying it to another class. LEAD is only responsible for collecting or refunding LEAD fees. Any class fees that are owed directly to teachers, or any refunds required from teachers, shall be handled by the teacher.
