Intermediate Spanish (10-18)

Intermediate Spanish Thursdays, 10-10:55 AM Teacher: Moraima Serra. montessoricolibri@gmail.com. Course Cost: $365. Supplies needed: notebook, pencil, coloring pencils, scissors, glue. Please label everything. Course Duration: 15 weeks Ages: 10-18 This will be a project-based class with a focus on communication and immersion. We will start each class with vocabulary review pertinent to the planned project. Projects might include cooking, memorizing and presenting a scene, making a family tree, Hispanic music appreciation/dancing, gardening, creating a comic book page, and crafts. There will be a simple homework sent home from time to time. The vocabulary review will be sent home every week. As a bonus, I would love to organize a field trip to a Hispanic restaurant so students can practice ordering in Spanish. Prerequisites: Basic Spanish vocabulary such as greetings, days of the week, months of the year, colors, immediate family members, some body parts, some verbs. Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy: The LEAD Refund policy for dropping a class is as follows: • Class canceled 1+ weeks before classes begin = full refund of class and LEAD fees. • Class canceled 1 week before OR after classes begin = no refund of LEAD fees. Refund of class fees is up to the discretion of the instructor. If, for some reason, a class you have signed up for is canceled by LEAD or the instructor (either before or after the start of classes), you will have the option of receiving a refund of your LEAD per-class fee or applying it to another class. These terms are subject to change per semester.
