Physics Lecture + Lab Course Days & Times: Lab: Monday 9:30-10:30 a.m. Lecture: Tuesday 10-11 a.m. Teacher: Julia Lutgendorf & Robert Hill Course Cost: $430 Course Duration: 12 weeks Ages: 11+ Course Description: This course is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of the fundamental concepts and principles of physics. Through engaging lectures and hands-on experiments, students will explore various topics in mechanics, electricity, magnetism, and energy. This class meets twice a week with lecture on Monday and lab on Tuesday. Students should expect a brief homework assignment to prepare them for the lab. Topics will include: the scientific method, measurements and units, motion and forces, energy and work, simple machines, electricity and magnetism, sound and light waves, heat and temperature.
