Robotics - Non-competition Wednesdays, 10-10:55 AM Teacher: Robert Hill and Julia Lutgendorf. steampoweredkids@gmail.com. Course Cost: $340 Course Duration: 15 weeks Ages: 6-18 Robotics encourages the exploration and application of STEAM based principals through building and programming robots. No previous experience with robotics is necessary. This is a non-competition class. Returning students will be given the freedom to build upon past experiences on new platforms and challenges. Activities focus on honing critical thinking skills, perseverance and teamwork as students learn to program, use sensors and design attachments. Some of the robots we will use include: Hexbug Nanos, Spheros, Lego Mindstorms and more.

Cancellation Policy
Refund Policy: The LEAD Refund policy for dropping a class is as follows: • Class canceled 1+ weeks before classes begin = full refund of class and LEAD fees. • Class canceled 1 week before OR after classes begin = no refund of LEAD fees. Refund of class fees is up to the discretion of the instructor. If, for some reason, a class you have signed up for is canceled by LEAD or the instructor (either before or after the start of classes), you will have the option of receiving a refund of your LEAD per-class fee or applying it to another class. These terms are subject to change per semester.
