The 2026 Midterm Elections Tuesdays, 12:30-1:25 PM No class between Sept. 2-8. Teacher: Marilyn McGinnis Course Cost: $300. Sliding scale available. Please contact Marilyn at atlpeacemom@gmail.com. Course Duration: 12 weeks. This course ends November 17, 2026. No class on September 8. Ages: 12-18 This discussion-based class will examine the electoral process and the major issues and candidates in the November 2026 elections for local, state, and Congressional offices. Students will be expected to bring insights from news reports and their own research to class each week to fuel our conversations. Hopefully, we can schedule a visit with one or more candidates and visit an early voting site during the semester.

Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy: The LEAD Refund policy for dropping a class is as follows: • Class canceled 1+ weeks before classes begin = full refund of class and LEAD fees. • Class canceled 1 week before OR after classes begin = no refund of LEAD fees. Refund of class fees is up to the discretion of the instructor. If, for some reason, a class you have signed up for is canceled by LEAD or the instructor (either before or after the start of classes), you will have the option of receiving a refund of your LEAD per-class fee or applying it to another class. These terms are subject to change per semester.
